Reviews Summary
Totti's is a highly popular Sydney Italian restaurant celebrated for its exceptional wood-fired bread and creamy burrata. While some find it pricey, most agree the quality ingredients and vibrant atmosphere make it a worthwhile experience. The attentive service and delicious pasta dishes also contribute to its strong reputation.
"Absolutely worth the price, the hype, and the queue. This Totti’s sits right on busy George Street, spacious and always buzzing. Lines look long, but I still got seated in around 5–10 minutes. Staff run things efficiently and stay attentive even when the place is full.
Came as a group of 2 and ordered Wood-fired Bread with salami, mushroom, burrata, plus a Tiramisu Almond. Simple meal, satisfying, and more than enough.
- Wood-fired Bread: Comes out piping hot the second it leaves the oven. Still puffed, soft, thin, and chewy; honestly some of the best dough I’ve ever eaten.
- Toppings: Burrata stole the show. Creamy, smooth, and lifted by fragrant olive oil. It’s the element that makes every bite land.
- Tiramisu Almond: Light on alcohol, soft ladyfingers, sweetness at a good level. Mascarpone doesn’t hit as hard as it should, and the chocolate chips don’t bring much flavor. Huge portion for two, so it gets heavy toward the end.
Next time I’m in Sydney, I’m coming back for the wood-fired bread and whatever’s on the special menu."

"People say you haven’t truly been to Sydney if you haven’t eaten here — and I can see why!
I ordered:
1. Bread for sharing – $18 (10/10): fresh from the oven, simply amazing.
2. Prosciutto – $26.50 (10/10): super fresh, perfectly shaved.
3. Burrata – $18 (10/10): the best dip for both bread and prosciutto.
4. Calamari – $26 (10/10): super tender, even better with a squeeze of lemon and the dipping sauce.
5. 2 portions Bucatini Vongole – $80 (8/10): tasty and satisfying.
6. 1000gr Ribeye BTT F1 – $195 (10/10): absolutely incredible, worth every bite. It needs 45 minutes to be cooked
7. Fries – $16.50: a nice add-on.
💰 Total: about $400
I was so happy to finally try this place, and I would love to come back again. Unfortunately, I’m flying back to Indonesia in two days — but this will definitely be my first stop next time I return.
I walked in around 3:30 pm and managed to get a table for 4 (we were 5 people) even though it was FULL HOUSE.
⭐ Highly, highly recommended!"

"Bar Totti delivered exactly what I was expecting — a proper Italian experience, and honestly, a very enjoyable spot compared to what you usually get in Melbourne. The woodfired bread was incredible — puffed up, fresh, and worth the $18 on its own. Paired with the prosciutto, which was seriously one of my favourites, and the fresh, juicy tomatoes, it was a perfect start. The burrata was rich and creamy, not watered down like I’ve sometimes had elsewhere.
For the mains, I got the crab pasta, and it was cooked perfectly al dente — a rare thing these days. The flavours were balanced and the mix just worked beautifully. Honestly, it’s been a while since I’ve had pasta this enjoyable.
The service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and unpretentious. They make you feel comfortable in the space and genuinely cared about the experience. Walking in around 12pm, we were lucky to get a spot; it was a full house, and a line had already formed for walk-ins by the time we left.
Everything felt fresh, high quality, and thoughtfully prepared. Truly a standout Italian spot."
