"The caretaker's really really go above and beyond for their guest's and taking care of the grounds. The place is very rustic but soooooooo beautiful and amazing. It is a total disconnect from the world. Into a totally peaceful, beautiful world. Can not recommend currango homestead enough. Will definitely be staying again. Just remember your linen and blankets because not all websites say its needed. And we learnt this one the hard way 🤦♀️❤️"

"Amazing homestead in the Snowy Mountains. Very clean and authentic. We arrived just before dark and the caretaker had the fire on for us making it toasty and warm. The grounds are amazing. Great facilities, outdoor BBQ. Lots to explore. Definitely recommend, we were a group of 5 but it sleeps 9."

"We stay at 'The Pines' at Currango Homestead for 4-5 days when we fish on Tantangara. Currango was built in the late 1800s and it retains its period charm.
I think that The Pines was the single men's quarters of the Homestead. It's basic living with minimal amenities and it's wonderful. Get in touch with NSW National Parks if it sounds interesting."
