What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Temora Aviation Museum for its impressive collection of well-maintained warbirds and the thrilling flying displays. The knowledgeable and passionate volunteer guides significantly enhance the experience, bringing the aircraft's history to life. While the museum is generally well-regarded, some visitors note that it can get crowded on flying days.
"Wonderful aircraft museum in the NSW rural town of Temora. Worth a visit if you're travelling through the Riverina of Southern NSW. Lots of WW2 war planes, workshop, air shows, I think it would be crowded, and other things to see. I stayed 2 nights in the camping ground at the Airport. Very good facilities here and reasonably priced at $35/night. Something I didn't know was the Temora Airpark Estate is part of the precinct. Neat rows of streets and houses with hangars in the backyard for direct access to the runway, just the place if you own a plane.
I really like the town of Temora and it's old hotels, friendly vibe and it's home to Elvis impressionist Craig Giles. There's plenty on Google about TAM. The Bundawarrah Centre Cultural Precinct in town is hosting the Bald Archies from 29 November - 21 December 2025. There's also lots of farm machinery and history."
