"Quite and scenic park. Home to eastern grey kangaroos and native birds. I’ve seen wombats and echidna’s here however this is rare. Swampy area with many frog species. Beautiful bird song. Area accessible by walking track."

"Beautiful tranquil spiritual place alive with wildlife. Accessible for all abilities, seating, shelter and bbq and drinking water available."
Pascale Jacq
"With so much parkland in this area, and many trails that meander in all directions, it's hard to tell where Tikakara Park begins and ends. But it's a lovely park to wander through when enjoying the Mullum Mullum trail or heading towards the Main Yarra Trail. Trails are generally in good condition to walk, run or cycle, and the waterways seem to flow all year round. Some BBQ facilities along the way, but amenities are harder to find. Mullum Mullum reserve has facilities, but if walking towards/along the Main Yarra Trail, public bathrooms are scarce."
