Reviews Summary

"Whales!!! What a beautiful view. Was lucky enough to catch whales. A bit of a steep incline to get up there but definitely worth a visit. Seeing these magnificent creatures was exhilarating!"

"It was my first visit to Skillon and a beautiful spot to go to in NSW. While I didnt get to see the whales migrating from this vantage point, it was still worth a visit. It is an easy hike up the hill to the top. What i like bout this place:
- The fresh air once i stepped out of the car.
- There is parking close to the Skillon and easy to navigate around.
- The hike up can be via the natural hill or the built steps. The council/ state has made it easier with benches along the way and at the top. This I think is helpful for anyone who may still find the hike up a bit taxing. I would still recommend wearing a good pair of walking shoes. If it has rained, the slope can be a little muddy too.
- Love the bush plants along the way and beautiful birds along the way.
- The water views are truly extraordinary and as the light changes, it creates almost like a different scenery. Just beautiful to photograph in all types of lighting.
I highly recommend coming here!"

"Quite spot. The combination of natural formation plus surrounding built foreshore (cafés, esplanade, boardwalk) makes it a well-rounded outing destination."
