"If you're old enough, then you will know this place as "The Water-tower," because that's the only name this place had before the old metal water tower was ripped down.
I absolutely loved climbing the water tower and standing on the vent in the middle of the top.
It was the highest point around Newcastle.

Nice and safe, unlike the cliff top walk that included jumping across the gap between two rocks just to make it down, further risking your life doing it.
