Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Sydney Biennale for its thought-provoking contemporary art and the unique, often industrial, venues that provide an alternative to traditional galleries. The knowledgeable and friendly volunteer teams are frequently highlighted. However, some find the art overly abstract, and the on-site food options are often criticized for being overpriced and of poor quality.

"amazingly knowledgeable and friendly staff but except for a few exhibits like ai wai wai's refugee, found it a bit too abstract this time. it was a shame though that i could not check out national gallery sydney."

"space is good. it is all indoors. Only thing there is lound music of some digital artworks . can be a concern to anyone who is sensitive to loud noise/ music. But they can maybe have ear plugs on for protection and it might be good to go . great volunteering team effort .
there is also cafe setup within the exhibition space. I tried the Pumpkin Soup for $12 and not worth the watery soup. Also the Focaccia was super cold. It was not heated/ warmed up before serving . at the most you can get your regular coffee which is decent."
