"Very well set out gardens.with lots of picnic spots and BBQ, plus a small take away shop at the front. We worth the walk around with all the different areas set out like a native area, desert area, rain forest etc. Set out at least a 1/2 day to see it all. Jenny Divers"

"Wow, where do i start this was absolutely fantastic! So many different types of gardens, from a chinese pavilion (which is perfect) to a cactus and rain forest zone. One of the best zoos have ever been to and it is free, though closes at 4pm. Next to the zoo is a lovely cafe with pretty cheap prices on certain things, perfect for kids. A great free museum nearby. Couldn't ask for more."
