Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the unique sand bar walk at King Island Conservation Park, especially during low tide, highlighting its scenic beauty and opportunities for wildlife spotting. While generally praised, some caution is advised regarding the fast-changing tides and dog restrictions.

"Came 2 hours before low tide, was extremely accessible, so I'm guessing 3 hours either side of low tide is passable, wouldn't want to risk too long on the other side though. Anyway, a Brisbane must visit spot, the pinnacle and peak of Wellington point, literally. Got some cool history on the island with a couple signs. Honestly faultless scenic spot along the coast bring your walking legs and have a blast."

Luke Senbruns

"Went bird watching here with a group of friends on low tide and had a great time. A little fun in the sun and warm water filled with life, first time looking out for sea birds so naturally very exciting. There was so much life on the sand, lots of hermit crabs and even little sea worms. It was very nice to go for a dip in the low tide. Curious to see what it would look like during normal tide."

Nikki Lee Brown (Lee)

"Wonderful place for a walk, when low tide. Relax your body and mind , recommended here may give you new ideas. Even a good place to take wedding photos."
