What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Henry Kendall Cottage and Museum for its rich history, charming cottage, and the dedication of its friendly, knowledgeable volunteers. It's a peaceful spot for learning and reflection, though some have felt uncomfortable with staff attention.
"As someone who enjoys history and all things 'old,' this trip was great . You could easily spend hours reading all the information presented alongside the beautiful displays. The staff are absolutely lovely and clearly take great care of this wonderful piece of history. I especially appreciated the warm welcome from one of the ladies, who took the time to give me a brief introduction as I arrived. Definitely take a trip and learn about the people who had a connected to this cute cottage."

"Nice little museum and cute cottage. $7 per adult entry. The museum had an array of photos and objects. Only sad part was a man working there followed me as I looked at farming equipment exhibits outside and it made me uncomfortable. I certainly would not be stealing old farm equipment."

"Nice museum and friendly staff. The territory of the museum can be divided into 2 parts. The first is an old cottage built by a former prisoner, where the poet Kendall recuperated and the second part is a local history museum. A rich exhibition will tell about the history of these places and the life of past generations.
Very nice and calm place for having picnic"
