"An enclosed safe harbour area with lovely long beach. Because of the breakwater, the water is calm. A number of small to medium boats anchored here. Beach is more popular during the weekend. Entry is free. Plenty of parking here and near the lighthouse. Toilets nearby. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. As we did, you can see humpback whales migrating south. Also, 4 day World triathlon championship held here during our visit"
