Reviews Summary

Wooyung Beach is highly praised as a genuine bush camp with a peaceful, natural setting and friendly staff. Visitors love the dog-friendly policy and the expansive beach across the road. Some note site size limitations for larger caravans and the absence of typical holiday park amenities like pools.

"It’s a BUSH CAMP people, so no electric bbq, or pool, or water connection. If you want that crap, pay extra and be a sardine in a big 4 type park. It allows dogs: It’s got great amenities block: dump point: various bore water taps for de-sanding said dog/s: 1 x fresh water on site. And beach is across the road."

"Nice location. Site size for large caravans limited, but large sites are perfect for multiple vehicles and caravan. Good amenities, clean and well kept. Great for a weekend break and not far from Gold Coast. Wood available, great for general fire / atmosphere, but not suitable for barbeque."

Deon Louw

"A great place for my style of camping, no frills but very clean and tidy and a super helpful lady in the office. I have been there twice, both times mid week. On both occasions there was room enough to not be right next to other campers which was terrific. I’ll return for sure."
