The well-maintained elevated platforms offer fantastic views, and the ancient trees create an awe-inspiring atmosphere. While the walk involves stairs, it's generally considered manageable for most, including families with young children.
"So beautiful, best waterfall walk I have done in the area. Lots of stairs on the way down following the left hand side of the loop. You hear the roar of the falls before you see the water from the first viewing platform. The view only improves with each viewing area. Once you are up the stairs on the much shorter return, you see the old steamer and logging trolleys. The massive 300yo eucalypts and tree ferns make the walk a stunning journey."

"A nice walk amongst the rainforest. Grade 3, 1 hour loop (but with stops and children with us we spent just over 2 hours). Although grade 3 our 5 year old managed it easily. The steps and walkways make navigating the terrain easy.
Lots of majestic 300 year old mountain ash trees, lovely sounds of the forest and of course the waterfall. You can’t actually walk up to the falls themselves but can observe from a nice viewing platform.
Car park is large, space for about 30 cars. Public toilet, rain water tank to wash hands."

"Beautiful walk down to Triplet Falls. Not too difficult but there are some steep sections to be aware of if you struggle to get around.
We also went to the Little Aire Falls which were further away but no less spectacular. The trek there was quite up and down but we both managed to get there and back without any issues."
