"Stunning hike. Lots of little hills to hike over and you are well rewarded with gorgeous views sweeping out over the valley. The loop is quite diverse. Don’t forget your camera and a water bottle. I hiked it with my blind Jack Russell in my backpack when visiting nearby Quorn for the inaugural quandong festival. It was good exercise ahead of lots of eating at the festival!"

"We paid $5 entry fee to visit for the day and it's worth it. We did the circuit walk around the hill. It takes about 1.5 hours with a couple of rests. Great views and interesting plants. We also saw the rock wallabys."
Regan Turner
"Great camping spot if you like bush treks and kangaroos. Quite hot but under the trees provided a lot of relief. We stayed at the second camp on a level bank above the dry creek bed. Great spot with kangaroos, parrots and wrens (I think). Did the three hour loop trail to Smoke-Oh Lookout. Signed the trekkers book at the top. Really in interesting walk following creek, then through pines, over hill sides and then the easy climb to the top ... Walk down the other side."
