"The Ranshofen parish church of St. Pancras was begun in 1508 as the fourth church to be built on its current site. Previously, there were two chapels and the parish church of St. Michael, which was built in 1120. The current church was fully completed in 1520. Returning to the old parish church of St. Michael, it was closed to the public for safety reasons in 1785 and demolished in 1799. After extensive renovations, it now serves the parish in a particularly beautiful setting. If you're near Ranshofen, be sure to visit."
