Tips for foreign students in Graz, Austria?
I'm about to move from Myanmar to Austria (first time going to Europe) for graduate studies. A few questions I'd like to ask Austrians and foreign students living there: What are some culture shocks I should prepare for? What advice and tips do you want to give to (Southeast…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the University of Graz Main Building for its beautiful architecture and lively campus atmosphere, making it a worthwhile visit even for non-students. However, prospective international students should be aware of potentially challenging administrative processes and long waiting times for appointments.
"Reviewing as a tourist interested in the buildings/facilities: 5/5"

"Applying process is a pain for students coming from other countries. They WILL waste your time like it's nothing.
Applied in JANUARY and got an answer in MARCH when the course ALREADY STARTED only for them to barely explain the aspects that were not correct on the application. Get your time limit of sending the documents postponed to April only for them NOT to accept them because it was 'too late ' because they're incompetent enough not to check and > the fact that THEY gave you more time, or perhaps they didn't read the email you sent with the updated info, which in both ways makes them a joke of an institution.
Scheduling appointments with them is horrible, since they only work two days a week on a very reduced schedule so expect to book appointments weeks in advance...Only for the system not to work, make you wait Hours Infront of the door for your turn to show up, they go for their break and can't even schedule for next week."
