"Thank you to Gotzis Fuerwehr and Hohenems Bergrettung for rescuing my dachshund that fell off the cliff whilst admiring this watch tower. my special tip is go to the guest house next to the watch tower at the Schutzenhaus and eat the menu (not the schnitzel and chips as that is for the Swiss and Tourists). "Parking right at the foot, there is also a model of the building in its best times. The climb was not difficult, the view was not impressive, we hoped to see the mountains, but due to reconstruction the site was closed. If you have time, you can take a walk; the place is not worth a separate trip, at least until the scaffolding is removed."
