How to get there?
Get the bahn ticket and head towards the congress office. There you will find a train station, designed by Zaha Hadid. You will know the train station just by it's design!
Then get into the train and get down at the last stop which is nordbahnkette(sounds something like this). Catch a cable car from there, comes under same ticket. This will take you to another stop which is halfway.
From there catch another cable car and valah you are at the top of Innsbruck."
Akmal Hassan
"After taking the last cable car leg, take the little climbs on the right side to reach the top of Innsbruck and have the supreme of the valley and mostly the city. Worth a visit in any season."
Gilli
"Despite taking a cable car for over 2000m of the ascent, it was very rewarding to walk that last stretch to the peak. Lovely scenery."

The Journey: A Scenic Ascent
It's crucial to be mindful of the schedule, especially for the last cable car descent. Missing the last ride can leave you stranded on the mountain. Always check the operating hours and last departure times for both the funicular and the cable cars before you ascend. Planning your time wisely ensures a relaxed and enjoyable experience without any last-minute rushes.
Hiking and Exploration on the Nordkette
For those seeking more challenging treks, the Nordkette range offers numerous paths. Remember that mountain weather can change rapidly, so always be prepared with appropriate gear, including sturdy footwear, layers of clothing, and sufficient water. Inform someone of your hiking plans if you're venturing on longer routes. The alpine environment is beautiful but demands respect and preparedness.
Capturing Hafelekar's Majesty
When packing your gear, a wide-angle lens is invaluable for capturing the vastness of the mountain panoramas. Consider bringing a telephoto lens to focus on distant peaks or details within the landscape. Don't forget extra batteries, as the cold mountain air can significantly reduce battery life. A sturdy tripod can be helpful for low-light conditions or long exposures, especially if you're capturing sunrise or sunset. Always be mindful of the wind, which can be strong at this altitude, and protect your equipment accordingly.
