While dining options might be basic, the natural beauty is the undeniable star, making it a highly recommended day trip for its unforgettable views and sense of tranquility.
"What an amazing experience. We've been here twice 8 years apart and it keeps on delivering. It is quite a process of buses and funicular to get you up the mountain, every part of it feels like an adventure and the views along the way just keep getting better. Thank you to all the people who work hard to make this happen. For the drone pilots out there, please take note that drone flying is not allowed in this area."

The scenery is absolutely breathtaking — majestic mountains, crystal-clear air, and a sense of calm that stays with you.
We had an amazing time here with our colleagues: great views, great energy, and moments we’ll definitely remember.
Perfect spot to relax, recharge, and just enjoy nature at its best.
Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful spot for a day trip with stunning blue water in the dams with snowy covers alps in the surrounding having all basic facilities including WC, restaurants, setting areas and view points. Travel possible with two busses from kaprun and a cable car/ elevator. From the dam view point we did a day long hike to the top of gipfelvelt and stayed overnight in a beautiful Salzburgerhutt ❤️."
