"One of the best markets and farmer's markets we have ever been to.
Even in winter it is an awesome place to be with so many great stalls and delicatessen shops, hard working individual farmers selling their hand-made cheese, meats, marmalades, bread, candles and wines.
There are great permanent shops as well including bakeries 🥨🥖and cake shops 🍰, spice shops and butchers, fruit 🍓 and vegetables 🍆, fish 🐟 and cheese 🧀 sellers as well as cafés ☕
Not to forget about Specklois who has by far the best speck and Hascheeknödel🥓
On the Südbahnhofmarkt you can find literally everything you need from ecologically and locally sourced farm produce to tin-openers and fresh blood oranges.
If you are interested you can find the market's history described in the informative signs on the premises, as the name suggests it was part of the big horse-routes through Austria."
