"The Barbara Cemetery, as it is called in Linz, is an institution. Historically, it is certainly the most interesting cemetery. One should do a little research before visiting, either on the website or on Wikipedia. It is worth it, as there is a lot to discover. In addition to many very interesting but unfortunately forgotten old names and their venerable stories, there are also interesting graves and a lively animal world with rabbits, birds and other friendly companions. The location on the railway line is less than pleasant, and it is confusing and divided by adjacent streets. The surrounding area is also not very homely. But it makes up for this with a few stories from the Austro-Hungarian era, from National Socialism and its victims to the times of the Republic. There is more to discover than just the founder's gravestone."
