Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Lurgrotte Peggau for its stunning natural beauty, impressive dripstone formations, and the unique experience of exploring an underground river system. The chance to see bats is a particular hit with families. While the standard tour is well-maintained and informative, some guests have noted issues with tour guides' language skills and accuracy.
"An interesting cave system of about 1,5 km and something different when it is hot outside. Bear in mind that you will need a jacket in order to stay inside the cave for 1+ hour that the tour lasts. They provide you with clothes in the reception if you ask for it. The guide was very explanatory although mostly in the german language. A really nice experience."

"Unbelievable beautiful dripstone cave. The biggest one in Austria with underwater rivers. The 1 hour trip is perfect for families, there is enough light and a pathway incl railings. We even saw bats - the highlight for the kids. The museums are small but very educational. Really recommended! One day, i hopefully dare to take the 6-8 hours adventure trip!"

The weather in the cave is pleasant, cool, and humid. The place is very beautiful, and the path inside is well-developed.
The tour guide was also interesting, the guide was kind."
