Reviews Summary

Sölden is lauded as an incredible, vast ski area, particularly praised for its modern lifts, reliable snow on its high-altitude glaciers, and the thrilling longest run in Austria. Visitors also rave about the vibrant après-ski scene and unique attractions like the 007 Elements museum. However, some find it to be a pricey resort, and certain lift lines can be long during peak times.

"Incredible ski area, enormous and mostly above the tree line. It can take a while (as in a couple of hours) to take all the lifts to get to the top, so planning is a good idea to coordinate where to park. Free and frequent buses in town give a lot of flexibility that allow you to get to your car no matter where you come down. Gondolas and chair lifts were modern and fast. One lift line was enormous but took less than 20 minutes. The longest slope in Austria is here. Did not take that long to ski it top to bottom. though it does take a while to get up there. 007 museum was fun, as was the restaurant up there. Excellent food that requires reservations to get in, but you can request to eat out on the deck. It can be a little chilly but they provide blankets so if you don't have reservations you still have a way to enjoy the great food. Definitely recommend it all, skiing, museum, food."

"Wide slopes and this ski centre has the latest lift.

"Pricy skiresort, but worth it! It is a big resort, with glaciar, which is great for good weather and also lower area for foggy times. Great views, funparks and so on."
