Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Stuibenfall Klettersteig, calling it a beginner-friendly via ferrata with breathtaking views of Tirol's largest waterfall. The climb is manageable, offering a thrilling experience alongside the cascades, though the approach can be steep. It's a highly recommended adventure for families and those new to via ferratas.

"A great via ferrata that’s quite beginner friendly (up to C difficulty) and offers breathtaking views both during and after the climb. The approach is a 20-30 minute uphill walk that can feel long if you carry a heavy backpack, and the climb itself can be done in two hours at a relaxed pace. There are multiple spots to relax or sit down and take a break."

Dan Vrabel

"We walk for 15 minutes from the parking lot up to the waterfall. It’s a steep walk in the forest but the lintel stream is always beside the trail and give you the motivation to move forward up the trail. We didn’t go up the stairs and the bridge since we needed to recover from walking up, but the view from below the waterfall was amazing and the was was great as well. Don’t miss it if you love nature and if you’re looking for some quality time with a friend or family."

Shimon Levy

"The klettersteig was fine with my 12 year old. the optional crossing (B/C) across the waterfall proved complicated as our kits were not quite long enough so un clipping off the final bridge was a struggle. (It also started to rain at that point) next time I will use an extension, just be prepared for adventure at the final bridge with children. Well worth doing."
