Reviews Summary

Visitors, especially families, rave about the Welios Science Center's engaging and interactive science exhibits that make learning fun. While the hands-on experiences are a huge hit, some note that not all exhibits are always open and crowds can lead to waits, particularly on rainy weekends. The on-site restaurant is good but pricey, leading many to opt for picnics in the nearby park.

"We (two adults and a 7-year-old child) really enjoyed the museum. However, not all exhibits were open during our visit. Also, since we went on a rainy weekend, there were a lot of visitors, and at times we had to wait quite a while for our turn to try some of the experiments."

"An absolute must for Kids, if you don't have to travel too far.

My kids absolutely love this and accept driving 1 1/2 hours in order to visit the venue. Different experiments to try physical concepts and learn about sustainability, actually feeling how much power (work) is needed to power a toaster, seeing (and hearing) the power that sleeps in hydrogen, and the list continues.

With kids that are interested in trying out stuff, you can easily spend your day here. If you have a family card (even with a lower Austrian family card) you can even get a discount on your ticket.

The restaurant is great too, but it's a bit on the pricy side, so if you're trying to save some money, bring your own food and consume it in the wonderful park behind the venue."
