Here you can experience a music time travel: see well preserved wind instruments from their early wooden (and not only) stage, gradually becoming flutes, oboes, trumpets, trombones etc as we know and play them nowadays.
In parallel, follow the evolution of string instruments to the present shapes, with an -non surprisingly - emphasis on orchestra strings family: from violas and violins to the cellos and double basses.
Last but not least, the Keyboard collection is a must seen!
Well preserved clavichords and spinets, as well as the early stage pianofortes to a very interesting collection of pianos of different sizes and shapes.
