"We had breakfast here twice during our holiday. The food was amazing and the coffee well made. We are early risers and appreciated how early Café Diglas opened. Their pastries were especially delicious"

"Café Diglas was recommended to us by a Vienna resident. After we checked into our hotel, we found out the cafe was only a block away. When we arrived at 4:00, we were seated immediately. My wife ordered the beef goulash, and I ordered the pork schnitzel. I was impressed by the large serving of schnitzel I received. The crust was the best that I’ve ever tasted. The pork meat could be cut with a fork. A delicious bowl of potato salad was included. My wife’s goulash had tender pot roast and boiled potatoes. It too was excellent. In three days, we’ve gone to Café Diglas three times, and I’ve ordered wiener pork schnitzel every time. My wife has tried three different meals, and each one was superb. One night we returned for dessert, and the apple strudel was A+ Highly Recommended! 😊"

"Had a cup of coffee and chocolate cake. The cake is dry, unlike the American version. Not overly sweet and with a tart cherry filling in the middle. Overall, I enjoyed it. It’s not something I’m used to but glad we tried it. The atmosphere is quite nice and the staff were very courteous. Would recommend people to try it."
