What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the church's beautiful architecture, noting the fascinating blend of Gothic, Baroque, and Romantic styles. The tomb chamber and the opportunity to see the Carlo Acutis reliquary are highlighted as unique attractions. However, some guests have expressed reservations about the music played during services, finding it not always aligned with traditional expectations.
"Beautiful church. But the mass was in my opinion spoiled by the music. Pop songs of not even a faintly religious nature accompanied by drums blared out. I stood at the back (as it was packed) but I noticed some others have a problem with ‘Come Together’ by the Beatles being ‘performed’ during the liturgy. This is what you expect in a U.S Protestant hall. I hope next time I’m in the area to hear hymns more respectful to the mass and not irrelevant nonsense to ‘keep the kids interested’."
