"Narrow gauge railway Zell am See to Krimml. Catch the steam train that runs on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Takes around three hours one way. Line runs along a broad valley with good views ending at the Krimml waterfalls. On the way back travel on the balcony immediately behind the steam loco and get the full blast from the loco working hard blowing its whistle. Be prepared for a face full steam and smoke. Great! a must do for all steam fans."
