"Located in an historical heritage building this Library is a symbol of knowledge and information. The Library is named after the legendary writer, progressive philosopher and national poet Akhundov. This four storey majestic building is known for its rare collection of archives, wonderful books, journals, magazines, photo films and audio literature. I was pleasantly surprised when I went there to present a book written by me in English, I was taken around the Library by a staff member and also showed me rare books in the archive section. The hospitality and human warmth is memorable."
