What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Baku Olympic Stadium is a modern, large-capacity venue praised for its impressive architecture and its ability to host major international events like concerts and football finals. Visitors appreciate the helpful staff and good food options. However, some find the distance from the football pitch suboptimal, and crowd control during exits can lead to significant delays.
"Amazing conversion to conference Venue for UNFCCC-COP29. Four big conference rooms and big coffee are, just like normal convention centre, but then you look at satellite view and see you are on the centre circle of the pitch! Staff extremely helpful."
Pat Heslop-Harrison
"Great experience! It was my first time in a stadium watching the game and the staff were very kind and the food and desserts were delicious! I would definitely recommend buying a private room if you're going with friends or if you're going alone and just want to watch the game, the regular seats would be fine. Tickets need to be bought in advance."
Ibrahim Mehdi (IM123)
"Terrible logistics, long walk to get there, almost 2 hours to leave due to crowd control. I do not recommend attending any concerts until they drastically improve their processes."
