I passed by the Central Shaheed Minar near Dhaka Medical and Shahbagh, though I didn’t get the chance to explore it closely. From what I saw, the area holds a lot of historical and emotional significance.
However, one thing that really disappointed me was the random and illegal parking of motorcycles and rickshaws around the monument 🛵🚫. It truly takes away from the beauty and dignity of such an important site.
On the positive side, I loved how green and peaceful the surroundings were 🌳✨. The presence of so many trees gives the place a calm and serene vibe — perfect for reflection and respect.
But sadly, some visitors ruin this environment by throwing food wrappers, plastic, and waste around the area 🍟🥤🚮. It's our responsibility to keep such places clean and respected.

"The Shaheed Minar is a glorious symbol of Bangladesh. The Shaheed Minar represents the six liberation struggles of Bangladesh. It is a place of honor for every citizen of Bangladesh. A few days ago, a gathering was held near Shahbagh, where we went to show support for the liberation of Palestine. At that time, I visited the Shaheed Minar. I liked everything, except for one thing, which I did not like at all—and that is not the fault of the Shaheed Minar, but our own. There was a huge amount of garbage in front of the Shaheed Minar, and people had climbed onto it with their shoes on. I believe there should be a few people stationed there to warn others not to step onto it with shoes. It is our responsibility to protect the glorious places of Bangladesh. Therefore, we must preserve all the honorable landmarks of our country, such as the Shaheed Minar, the National Martyrs’ Memorial, and the zoo."
