What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Nuhash Polli is cherished as a memorial to the beloved writer Humayun Ahmed and a place of natural beauty. Visitors appreciate the serene atmosphere and the opportunity to connect with the writer's legacy. However, many note a decline in maintenance, with some finding the entry fee a bit high given the current condition.
"It was supposed to be a beautiful place, i strongly believe it was till the legendary writer was alive. Now I think it has lost its charm but still many people visits this place as its about Humayun Ahmed.
After purchasing tickets (probably BDT 200/pax) we entered and found his mural. The building he used to live. Vast green field. The small tree house. The fountain (needs special care) and the pond at the end. It has a canteen, public toilets are just beside. Swings were ok. But everywhere you will find lack of care. His tomb is accessible from outside.
I probably will not come back here again. By the way, try tea with cow milk outside the main gate of Nuhash Polli. You will like it. You can also visit a big lake which is just two minutes drive from there."

"Nuhash palli was good for natural view. If you need calm and chaos free environment you may go. But there is no Humayun Ahamed memories without his graveyard. I think this price is too much per person 200tk."
