Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Belovezhskaya Pushcha for its stunning, ancient primeval forest and the opportunity to see European bison. The park's natural beauty and well-maintained trails are highlights, offering a serene escape. However, some find the animal enclosures too small, and dining options can be inconsistent in quality and price.

"I could stay here for a year. Very serene forest where trees and animals are your only companions. The food in the restaurant is great. I will definitely come back to this place if I will visit the country again."

Lexi LUO

"Interesting, but nothing special. Are looks great. Some cafes closed monday and tuesday 😬 can rent bikes and scooters for long rides. There is also a hotell. Animals are regular, bisons are interesting but they have no energy."

Arne Mathiassen

"Pros: This is a really big park, just the commercial part encompasses tens of square kilometres, there is real natural beauty to be found here even close to the entrance. The roads and paths here are also well-maintained and clear in their direction, and even though some parts might feel very touristic the park does feel very natural in most parts. The park feels very alive, with scientists and foresters walking around and working. The prices for the park are also very good and you can pay just for certain sections of the park. You can also rent bikes, scooters, bus trips etc. English is not spoken at the booths, but there are clear indications of the prices on the walls in English.

Neutral: The food is nothing to write home about, there is a large restaurant-hotel right in front of the entrance with okay food and terrible portion-to-price ratios, but the little shack slightly to the right is actually cozy and has good food for the price.

Cons: The only con that I can come up with for the park is about the open air cages section of the park. Some animals like the bisons, deer, and horses have plenty of space to walk around in with good looking enclosures, but most animals do not. The bears, birds, and small critters have cages that one cannot appreciate. The bears can only walk about 5 paces before they reach the end of their cage, the birds of prey can barely spread their wings, and the raccoons only have one hollow log to lie under.

In short, the park is worthwhile especially when you are near Brest, but the conditions inside the open air cages should be improved."
