What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Nachtegalenpark is widely praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds, diverse wildlife, and unique art installations. Visitors appreciate the ample space for activities like picnicking, jogging, and walking pets. However, some find the cafe service slow and the playground area overly crowded during peak times.
"Beautiful place. To pitty that the fontain was not in use. The meaning of a fontain is to have water, but was dry and fades away the beauty of it."
Vera De Smet
"Avoid the kids park and cafe as they are always extremely crowded and pretty rowdy. Service at the cafe is unfriendly and very slow.
The park itself is excellent, there are many well maintained walking routes to explore through the beautiful woods. There are many animals to see including ducks, deer (domestic), goats, and sheep. The animals are extremely well cared for and have beautiful enclosures with lots of enrichment and toys. Honestly some of the best cared-for animals in Belgium, including in big zoos!
Please do not feed the animals as I often see people doing it and it is bad for their health to eat human food!"
April De Wilde
"Gorgeous park, you can enjoy a picnic, a walk around, you can bring your pets too. It has a few options where to get lunch/brunch/ a glass /... I love it ❤️"
