Visitors generally praise the interactive elements and the educational aspect of the Bruges Beer Experience, finding the hands-on ingredient exploration and the final beer tasting to be highlights. While some found the tablet reading a bit tedious, the overall experience is considered enjoyable and a good introduction to Belgian beer culture. A few negative comments mentioned staff rudeness or sarcasm, but these seem to be isolated incidents.
"The beer was great, but one staff member was quite rude. We brought a waffle from elsewhere, and when told we couldn’t eat it there, we agreed. However, another staff member repeated the rule, and despite us acknowledging it again, she kept lecturing us even when we explained we couldn’t put it away without making a mess. But everything else was good."

"Wow, what a great place to visit. The entrance is like a giant man cave. There are beer signs from all around the world as you climb the stairs. We decided to do 1 x tour and 3 samples at the end and 1 x adult only. We were given ipads and headphones, and you just have to pit the camera in the direction of an object, and it tells you all about it. There is a quiz as you go around and good for games between family members to see who gets most right, 20 questions in all. I loved the layout of the museum and kept you engaged all the way round. You get to be hands-on as you walk around, picking up grain, hops, and being able to smell all the ingredients for making beer. The staff here were great too, explaining all the beers when we got to the bar, we took a seat, and it looks over the square. If im ever back here again, I will definitely revisit."

"I wish it could be more interactive other than interacting with the iPad. But overall enjoyable. Learned about beer components and brewing process and the roles of monks. The tour ends with 3 beers is always good."
