Timing Your Visit for Tastings

While the museum showcases historical brewing, the real draw for many is the tasting. Check the museum's schedule for specific tasting times, as these can vary. Arriving earlier in the day might offer a more relaxed experience before the crowds gather for popular tasting sessions. Instagram

Understanding Ticket Value

Entry can be around €17, which includes one 15cl tasting. Some visitors feel this is a bit steep for just one tasting, especially given the vast array of Belgian beers available. Consider if the historical exhibits and the single tasting align with your expectations for the price. Reddit

Reviews Summary

Visitors generally find the Belgian Brewers Museum to be an informative and enjoyable experience, particularly for those interested in the history and taste of Belgian beer. While the historical exhibits are appreciated, some feel the ticket price is a bit high for just one included tasting. Alternatives like Cantillon Brewery are often recommended for a more in-depth beer exploration. Reddit

"I wouldn’t really call this a museum, but for five euros, it’s definitely worth it. It’s really just one room with some info on how the beer is made and a short video playing on a screen.

You’re basically paying for a really good-quality beer. You can choose between a dark or light ale, and the owner is super friendly. He let us take fun photos behind the bar, pretending to serve the beer ourselves. This is a fun little stop if you’re near the Grand Place."

Fanta Salim

"Not really a museum but you won’t regret the visit, is really small couple of rooms where you watch a video and then taste a glass of beer. Located right in the heart of the Grand-Place."

AO “Fine diner”

"They spent a loot of money making this museum..!!! I don't want to spoil buy they have beautiful stories about every hop..! And after 2 hours of walking , reading and playing you end up on the roof drinking whatever you like seeing the view.!!!"
