"Saint Chrysole Catholic Church in Comines, Belgium or France?
At the beginning of the 20th century, a new church was built on Place Sainte-Anne in Belgium. It was inaugurated in 1912.
It was destroyed during the First World War.
In 1922, a new building was constructed, made of Flemish yellow brick.
The church is a neo-Gothic cruciform structure with three naves, a crossed turret, and an adjoining tower to the right of the north entrance portal, flanked by four corner turrets.
This beautiful church has a sister church on the other bank of the Lys River, bearing the same name but certainly of the same architectural style.
I'm not going to criticize the neighbor, which is obviously less beautiful..."
