What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Parc de Forest for its beautiful natural setting, offering a peaceful escape within Brussels. The charming steam train and the adjacent Parc Duden are frequently highlighted as unique attractions. While generally well-loved, some find the park could benefit from more amenities or clearer signage.
"A perfect spot for a lie down and picnic on a sunny Sunday in summer. Lots of people here with their pets and the park is big enough to accommodate a lot of people. I suggest taking the entrance to the left (slope) rather than the steps if you have mobility issues. I found the slope easier on my ankle. Bring a blanket, a few local beers or delicious kombucha, some apéro treats from your local store or a good book and enjoy! You can also enjoy the art deco architecture on the way to this park. Really loved it!"

"Nice place to visit in (lille - France) for families and kids with wide open green area."

"The renovation of this park should be taught in schools. It changed the entire atmosphere of the neighborhood. This park used to be full of thrash, homeless people and drug addicts. Honestly, it was not even considered a park but rather a partly green area which we "dared" to visit from time to time. The new design is so beautiful that when you see garbage on the ground, there is this inner urge to pick it up. Thank you for the work."
