"A unique Nineteenth century beguinage. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the perfect state of the buildings. It has been inserted in the UNESCO World Heritage List not surprisingly and deservedly! On an (almost) autumn Sunday afternoon, having a walk within the walls of this city in the city was very relaxing. There are explanatory panels scattered around. Just a pity that the church was closed and under renovation. The beguinage is in a residential area. Recommend a visit!"
