What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find Hasselt city center charming and enjoyable, praising the friendly staff and good breakfast at accommodations. However, some note issues with parking availability and occasional negative experiences with hotel personnel, particularly during check-in. The city's walkability and the presence of unique local shops are frequently highlighted as positives.
"Had 2 nights in this Ibis Styles and really enjoyed my stay. The comfort room was quite spacious and the breakfast buffet was good. The only downside was finding free parking nearby before 9 pm, when the garage parking becomes free. The staff was friendly and helpful, and overall I would recommend this Ibis Styles in Hasselt!"

"Overall, our stay was pleasant. The room itself was clean and well-kept, although at times it felt a little on the small side. The location is definitely nice since it's close to the city center, .
The only real downside was the personel and check-in experience. We arrived on Saturday and ended up waiting about 4–5 minutes before anyone came to the desk. It turned out the receptionist had been outside smoking, and when he finally came in, the cigarette smell was quite overwhelming. I’m convinced he saw us come in but still chose to finish his smoke first. On top of that, the check-in felt very dismissive, as if he didn't take us seriously.
Aside from the interactions, the stay was alright, but the first impression could definitely be improved."
