"This church was such an amazing and unique and unexpected experience. Other than the fact that the interior is very nice, they had a small exhibition on the history of the flemish people and the role of kortrijk in the war of the golden spurs. There was an immersive experience in the room at the right that is simply unmissable"

"A huge and impressive medieval church, built by the Count of Flanders in late 12th century.
Inside is also a small museum / exhibition about the battle of the golden spurs fought near Kortrijk in 1302. In the battle the Flemish troops routed the royal French army and the name comes from the gilded spurs which the victorious Flemish took from the defeated nobles. The exhibition, especially the movie, is excellent.
Don't miss this when in Kortrijk!"

"What a historical church!
They have all these war of 1302 interactive displays and paintings that explain the Battle of the Golden Spears.
I also come here on Sunday to celebrate solemn mass.
So if you are a Catholic and looking for a place to pray quietly and a person who loves history, this Church is a must-visit in Kortrijk! :)"
