Reviews Summary

Gaasbeek Castle is widely praised for its enchanting fairytale appearance and beautifully renovated interiors and gardens. Visitors love its romantic atmosphere and the stunning photo opportunities it provides. Some find the castle can get crowded, and suggest exploring the wider park for a more peaceful experience.

"The Gaasbeek Castle is a must, you approach it down a long avenue of trees the exterior is well maintained as is the interior. You can visit many rooms and even get lost there is so much to see. The detailed vaulted ceilings and the tapestries are superb. From the kitchen area with projections to the coin collection there are endless choices."

"Gaasbeek Castle is definitely worth a visit. They recently finished a renovation that took almost three years, and it really shows. The castle looks great, both inside and out. They've done a good job of keeping a lot of the original items, so it feels very authentic and you get a real sense of the history. It's quite informative as you walk through.
The castle garden is also a highlight. It's really beautiful and well-maintained, with different sections to explore. It's a nice place for a relaxed stroll.
The wider castle grounds are good for hiking too. You can easily spend some time walking around and enjoying the scenery.
Just a heads-up, while the castle and grounds are excellent for adults and older visitors, the interior with its historical artifacts might not be the most engaging for very young children. Teenagers and up would probably get more out of it. Overall, it's a very good experience if you're looking for a historical day out with impressive grounds. There are 2 free of charge parkings, You can buy a combo tickets for the castle and the castle garden. I personally find the garden - a garden, with flowers, fruit trees, nothing extra ordinary."
