"What an interesting and historically fascinating place. We had an enormous room. The bathroom would have been an actual hotel room in most places. Speaking of the bathroom, it definitely could use a refresh. This hotel has been in operation for a very long time. It has a patina of stories and it's like the Titanic in hotel form. It's a grand place. I imagine the upkeep is quite costly, but a huge investment could bring it back to its full glory. Great location on the beach, plenty of things to do for families. And a shout-out to the bartender who let me buy a gin and tonic after they were officially closed."
