"I am outraged by the policy that the nightclub has decided to enforce, and even more so by the security guards they have hired. Indeed, a friend and I had each paid for our tickets online (€15 each) to enter the club. To our surprise, the security guard refused us entry because we “weren’t accompanied by girls.”
I politely explained to him that, since I had paid for a service, they were obliged to provide it, and therefore to let us in. At that point, he violently pushed me out of the line, causing me to fall to the ground (my phone was broken in the process, and I am considering filing a complaint).
When I tried to understand how it was possible to be denied entry despite having already paid and reserved a spot (imagine, for instance, paying for a train ticket and then being refused access without any compensation), he responded with arrogance and contempt. It was clear he felt superior, and none of his colleagues seemed disturbed by his behavior (everyone around expressed their shock!).
Ultimately, it is imperative that Mirano reviews its policy (which is not compliant with consumer protection laws) and replaces its security staff, as they are supposed to protect us — not intimidate or assault us."
