"This is a cultural center in a spectacular location: a former indoor market dating back to 1865. After major renovations it now serves as a European cultural venue for the performing arts. The main hall can seat 750 or 2000 standing spectators. Before the show there's a cosy bar in the cellar. Although the building is not classified as a monument, it's certainly worth a visit for the spectacular facade and interior. The only drawback: the seating in the main hall is a typical prefab plastic-metal construction. It's okay for a short performance but the (cramped) seats can become uncomfortable for longer shows."
