Reviews Summary

Jobson's Cove is lauded as a stunning, secluded gem offering a more intimate beach experience than its famous neighbors. Visitors rave about the clear waters, vibrant marine life, and the unique pink sand. While some note potential issues with flies or seaweed, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting its tranquility and natural beauty.

"A stunning small beach, secluded from the other, more populated beaches. It's surrounded by rocks that buffer the waves. Clear waters and beautiful surroundings. I was lucky to have found this one!"

"If I could close my eyes and be on any beach in the world, it would be this very spot. The whole stretch of hidden coves between Warwick Long Bay and Horseshoe Bay is well worth the short trek over narrow trails made of the softest sand ever. The trails are lined by mangroves and palm trees, and baby butterflies fluttering everywhere.

We were in Bermuda for a week, so made it a point to hop around to several spots for comparison and for romantic picnics. This was my favorite and my husband's was on Cooper's Island, which is also an absolute gem and closer to the side of the island where we stayed. Jobson's Cove was so stunning that I realized later I hadn't even take a single photo while there and rather just lounged in awe, basking in the natural beauty that enveloped us. My husband climbed the cliffs/staircase off to the right, but I was afraid I wouldn't know how to get down, and he wound up jumping about halfway down since we were there at high tide and a little pool had formed, deep enough to catch him safely.

Also...the FISH! So many beautiful, colorful parrotfish and we even saw a small octopus here! I thought the water was just deeper in certain areas and it turned out to be massive schools of fish that would just part the way as you walked through waist height. So cool. There was just one other family there the day we went right after Labor Day, but I imagine it gets packed if there's a cruise ship docked or at the peak of summer."

"Beautiful little beach, sheltered and cute. We visited off season (December) and was so calm. It had much less seaweed than main beach next door and the water was extra calm. On a windy day, this is better."

In-depth insights and expert knowledge

Discovering Bermuda's Pink Sand Beaches

Bermuda is world-renowned for its stunning pink sand beaches, and Jobson's Cove is a prime example of this unique phenomenon. The distinctive pink hue comes from microscopic, brightly colored shelled organisms called Foraminifera that live on the coral reefs. When these organisms die, their crushed shells mix with the white coral sand, creating the iconic pink color.TikTok While Horseshoe Bay is the most famous, smaller coves like Jobson's offer a more intimate experience of this natural wonder.

Many visitors are captivated by the sheer beauty and the story behind the pink sand. The contrast of the soft pink against the vibrant turquoise waters of the Atlantic is truly breathtaking. It's a visual treat that photographers and beach lovers alike will cherish. The gentle lapping of waves on this unique sand creates a serene soundtrack to your visit.TikTok

When exploring Bermuda's south shore, it's worth venturing beyond the most popular spots. The stretch of coastline that includes Jobson's Cove, Warwick Long Bay, and Horseshoe Bay is dotted with numerous smaller, often less crowded coves. Each offers its own charm, from dramatic rock formations to calm, shallow waters perfect for a relaxing swim.Reddit

Snorkeling and Marine Life Encounters
