"This nunnery is meant for young women to learn the Dhamma teachings at a deep level in the Buddhist college classrooms. There are dormitories for them to board and plenty of activities including meditation within the main temple.
The present King of Bhutan's grandmother resides in a serene-looking white residence near to the college grounds. The residence is guarded. His grandfather was cremated and a stupa built in memorium at the exterior of the college temple."

There is a big pagoda as well within the campus. Tourist have access to almost all parts of nunnery. There are some artifact available for sell made by nunns.
