"While Sucre has an abundance of museums and cultural places and historic buildings, one of the nicest things to do is simply to walk and explore places like this is Mercado Campesino which is the largest marketplace in Sucre. It has been operating for many years and continues to expand due to the popularity of market culture in Bolivia. The market is a common place for rural or indigenous people to conduct business, with approximately 20,000 people from Sucre involved daily. Saturday is the most popular market day with lots of families visiting. It is an extremely vibrant place."

"Wild and passionate market. I love markets in general and this has my heart with no exception. Fresh juices from $1.5, meats fish, fruits and veg, artesian crafts, kitchen items..
Last experience was a lady calling out across the crowd to me, "Hola! Ven para aquí" one of the juice makers. There was no one in her seats so I waved and made my way over for a pineapple, passionfruit juice. They make enough for 2 glasses so you have to stick around.
Had a great experience here every time. Try to avoid using the bathrooms here."
