Reviews Summary
Visitors find Parque Cretácico Sucre to be a unique and educational experience, especially for its impressive collection of dinosaur footprints and engaging exhibits. While the steep walk and potential dust are noted, the affordable entry, included guided tours, and fun 3D show make it a worthwhile visit for families and dinosaur enthusiasts alike.
"Well worth a visit to see the numerous tracks and with guided tours in English or Spanish included in the 30 bob price it's a deal. The guide was excellent and brought the history of the place to life for us.
It's a steep walk down from the entrance to the cliffs where the footprints are located and you have to return the same way, so it's a bit of a workout, especially if it's hot. Hardhats are mandatory and supplied at the gate.
There are numerous footprints and the guide points out the shapes to describe each of the 4 types of dinosaur.
In the entrance area are lifesize models of multiple creatures and a small museum. It's an interesting way to spend a couple of hours. The bus from the main square takes about 25 minutes each way or you can take a taxi."

"I was expecting something like Jurassic Park and it was not it haha. Well, basically they found dinosaurs footprints and decided to create a tourist attraction around it. There's the bus downtown that you get in front of the cathedral for 15bobs and you pay 30bobs to get it.
Before the tour starts, you watch a video. There's the option of having the tour in English too. You walk a lot to get to the places where you actually see the footprints. You get covered in dust during the tour since there are trucks coming and going. Great view of the city but there are other better for free.
There is food and water, a bit pricy."

"Such a fun dinosaur park, I’d say it’s a must-do if you like weird and wonderful attractions. Getting there is easy with the Dino bus that leaves in the morning (9am, 10am and some other times) for 15BOB return. Do both tours once you’re there to learn about dinosaurs and then the hard hat tour to see the footprints up close. They are current redeveloping the lower part of the park to make it even bigger so interesting to see what comes next. Also the AI video is worth it for only a couple of bucks - super funny."
